This would be a beauty for period home restorations. The home shown here is Maritimo (CIRCA 1854). It is located at Dutton Way, Portland Victoria. This is a single-storey Old Colonial Regency Style home, which closely follows the Georgian Style. We see a wide verandah and a pediment, which is typically a triangular gable formed on the end (front face) of the portico. There is a pediment here, but in this case it is not triangular. The dwelling, called a “breakfront,” was built in Portland Victoria .
