This is part of the Late Victorian Era, and there is no doubt that this style created a real “stand-out” home. ‘
There can be no argument. You can see for yourself.
Let's take a look at an Italianate home of the Victorian period.

PERIOD HOMES.
We are creating a source of information on Period Homes. This is, of course, a work in progress.
Feel free to check it out frequently as we will be adding more material. In doing so, we acknowledge the incredible work of Richard Apperly, Robert Irving, and Peter Reynolds in their book: “A Pictorial Guide to IDENTIFYING AUSTRALIAN ARCHITECTURE.”
This is a fantastic piece of work and anyone interested should purchase a copy. You will not regret doing so.
Quoting Good Reads.

ITALIANATE (1840 – 1890)
Some of the features seen on the photograph of an Italianate home. These do help us to identify the style.
We do not so much see a symmetrical facade but instead asymmetrical massing.
There are classic motifs.
The magic of an ornate parapet.
The faceted bay – angled for effect.
The stunning round arch.
The smooth stucco look.
